Today, I

...got locked in a yoga studio (and didn't freak out!)

...left work at 5 pm (apparently the world doesn't end?)

...got through day 4 without a blackberry (speechless, I know.)

...shared a cookie with Jian Ghomeshi (and it was a delicious cookie!)

...enjoyed myself thoroughly (la vie est belle!)

Stalled.

Sometimes we get stuck in neutral and don't even notice it.

Sometimes you've gotta turn things on their head, literally, to start feeling more.

For us, it was a trifecta of our first place on a panel at the SMCC Conference, seeing new people and FINALLY taking a stab at that dreaded handstand at yoga.

And you know what? We've never felt more alive.

Clearly speaking at a conference is a special occasion, and we love our friends and family and job way too much to be dating every day, but you know what? A handstand a day? 100% worth it.

Lesson learned #10: Step out of your comfort zone. Every. Single. Day.
