Retail Therapy...

Hello, our name is Leslie and we're a shop-a-holic.

We can't help it. When we're happy, sad, stressed, uncomfortable, excited, all of the above, we like to buy things.

Pretty things. New things.

Why? Because we can.

But should we?

We were stressed out by work the other day - so we bought a pretty new shower curtain.

We were excited about a boy a couple of days ago - so we bought shiny new shoes and a couple of cute new dresses.

We were bored last week - so we bought a fluffy beach towel.

We're unsure of how we're feeling this week - so we're considering a brand spankin' new iMac. or perhaps a trendy new iPad?

We could say that we needed a shower curtain, or that eventually everyone needs to get new shoes & clothes. We could explain the need for a beach towel because our condo pool just opened, and that a new home computer will be both good for our work as well as our backs!

But really, we've just realized that perhaps we need a better way of dealing with our so called "feelings".

Suggestions welcome! =)

x's & o's,

Leslie

ps. For a start, we know for sure that we don't want to start eating our feelings! Other suggestions welcome...
