Sometimes we put our heart aside.
We think it doesn't matter.
That we can put our heart on the shelf.
And come back for it later.
Actions that would break our heart, become possible.
We can't feel it when we put our heart on hold.
It keeps us safe.
Pure.
It keeps us in control.
Possibilities.
Sometimes we put our heart on the shelf.
To save us from ourselves.
We can put our hearts aside.
It's not wrong.
But it sure isn't right.
